Roads lead to different villages, hotels, farms and controlled areas. A property that advertises a water view may be far from another property showing the same reservoir. Plot the actual entrances before deciding that two bookings can share a short transfer.

Soma gives its address as Village Gangavarhe on the Gangapur–Gangavarhe Road. York belongs to the Sula group’s Nashik wine-tourism operation, while The Haven by Sula is a separate hotel near York. For a first visit, use one confirmed appointment as your anchor and ask the driver to organise the remaining route. Avoid filling the gaps with unverified lakeside paths.

Sula’s May 2026 investor update includes York among its visitor destinations and identifies The Haven near the winery. That establishes the relationship between the names; it does not provide a live tasting calendar. Older travel articles may describe restaurant arrangements, fees or tour formats that are no longer the ones offered on your date.

Ask which tasting room is operating, whether advance reservations are necessary and which wines the selected session covers. If a third-party wine tour offers York as one possible stop, find out who chooses the final estates and when that choice becomes fixed. A hotel booking near York is not a ticket to a particular production tour, even when the branding is related.

Soma: distinguish the winery from the resort package

Soma’s official visitor material describes guided explanations of production and a choice of tasting packages across different wine styles. That makes it a candidate for travellers who want a structured visit rather than simply a drink with a view. Confirm the duration, group language and exact tasting selection when making the reservation; the website’s broad experience description is not a dated ticket.

The Booking.com property appears as Regenta Resort Soma Vine Village Nashik. A room package, a day visit and a tasting can have different terms. Direct-booking promotional benefits should not be assumed to apply to a Booking.com rate. Read the room’s own inclusion list and obtain clarification if a complimentary tasting or meal is an important reason for choosing it.

One estate or a comparison day?

Choose one estate if you want a leisurely lunch, have non-drinkers in the group or are arriving from another city that morning. Choose two when there is a reason to compare them and both have confirmed sessions. Leave enough time between appointments for the actual transfer and check-in; the second venue should not depend on the first finishing at the earliest possible moment.

A useful comparison focuses on the wines and the explanation rather than the number of glasses. Ask about a different grape variety or production method, and keep notes if that interests you. There is no need to finish every pour. Food, water and a driver who is not drinking belong in the plan regardless of how short the journey looks.
